BabyCue is built with one principle: your baby's data belongs to you and only you. We don't collect it, we don't see it, we don't sell it. Period.
All data — feedings, sleep logs, diapers, growth records, milestones, photos, health entries, routines, and sleep training logs — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to our servers because we don't have servers.
Nothing. BabyCue does not collect any personal information, analytics, telemetry, or usage data. We don't use any third-party analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or advertising frameworks.
BabyCue's Cry Analysis feature uses the microphone to analyze audio patterns on-device. Audio is processed in real-time using Apple's AVAudioEngine and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. You can deny microphone access and still use all other features.
The Photo Journal feature allows you to add photos from your library. Photos are stored locally within the app's data container. They are never uploaded or shared unless you explicitly use the Share feature.
BabyCue offers optional Pro upgrades via Apple's StoreKit 2. All purchase transactions are handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.
You can export your data as CSV or JSON files at any time from the Export section. Exported files stay on your device until you choose to share them (e.g., email to your pediatrician).
BabyCue is designed for parents and caregivers. While the app tracks information about children, this data is stored locally on the parent's device and is never collected by us. We comply with COPPA by simply not collecting any data.
BabyCue uses zero third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. The only external communication is with Apple's App Store for processing in-app purchases.
Deleting the app removes all data permanently. You can also delete individual entries within the app at any time.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. But honestly, "we don't collect your data" is a pretty hard policy to change.
