Overview

DriftOff is a sleep and relaxation app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. All data stays on your device.

• Sleep sessions & statistics: Stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Never uploaded to any server.
• Journal entries: Stored locally on your device. Never shared.
• Settings & preferences: Stored locally on your device.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No personal information (name, email, phone)
• No location data
• No health data
• No analytics or tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

In-App Purchases

DriftOff offers optional subscription purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions.

Text-to-Speech

DriftOff uses Apple's on-device text-to-speech engine (AVSpeechSynthesizer) for story narration. All speech synthesis occurs on your device. No text or audio is sent to any external server.

Notifications

If you enable bedtime reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

Data Export

You can export your sleep data from the Settings screen. This creates a local file on your device that you control.

Data Deletion

You can delete all data at any time from Settings → Clear All Data. You can also delete the app to remove all stored data.

Children's Privacy

DriftOff is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
