Is Settle legal advice?

No. Settle is an organizational tool, not a law firm. It helps you stay organized and on schedule. For legal questions — contested wills, insolvent estates, disputes — talk to a probate attorney.

Are the deadlines exact?

Deadlines are general guidance based on your state and can change. Always confirm critical dates with the probate court. The app reminds you to do exactly that.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Settle. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. If you cancel, you keep read-only access and free data export.

How do I get my data out?

In the app, go to More → Reports → "Your raw data — always free" to export everything as JSON and CSV. This is free forever, with or without a subscription.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to More → Privacy & data → "Delete all data." This permanently removes everything from your device. Export first if you want a copy.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, in encrypted storage. We don't collect it. See our Privacy Policy.
